Introduction
The choice of my work intitled “Rock Music in Teenager's vision” is defined by three essential points, such as:
• The importance of rock music for, for my friends and for my edgemates in general;
• Then, controversial opinions towards rock music which are often pronounced by different singers actors and even politicians;
• And, finally, it is my personal interest in rock music. I participate in one band, our name is “Red Ties”, we quite often perform rock music and that's why I find this particular topic is really significant.
Rock Music: to love or to hate?
I like... No, I love rock music, because, first of all, it influences my mood< my feelings and emotions. Secondly, I prefer to listen to American and English rock music and it helps me to enrich vocabulary, to improve pronunciation and to develop listening skills. Thirdly, it is possible to present this kind of music as a real mirror that reflects my life.
On the other hand, there are people who don't like and sometimes even hate rock music. Why? I am not quite sure, but in my opinion, there are many prejudes around rock music. Some people associate it with drugs, alchocol and social-against norms.
I don't want to force my ideas upon others, but my group and I perform such rock classical groups as “Queen” or “Beatles” in order to emphasize that the rock music can make our life and our society better
Rock Music: Past, Present and Future
Rock music has roots in 1940s & 1950s rock and roll, influences by rhythm and blues and country music.
Musically, rock has centered on electric guitar, with electric bass guitar and drums.
By the late 1960s, reterred as the “golden age” or “classic rock” period, a number of distinct rock music subgenres had emerged, including hybrids like blues rock, folk rock, country music and jazz-rock fusion.
Rock music has served as the vehicle for cultural and social movements, leading to major subcultures including mods and rockers in the UK and the hippie counter culture that spread out from San Francisco in the USA in the 1960s.
The folk tradition of the protest song, rock music has been associated with political activism as well as changes in social activism to race.
Nowadays rock music is often seen as an expression of youth revolt against adult consumerism and conformity. I think that rock music is the tool unity that makes people forget about the internet and just spend time together.
And what's about the future of rock music? I hope it will be great, because it is relevant today and it will be relevant in the long run.

I would like to finish with one quotation by Ann Wilson: “Heart has always been a rock band. It's always been hard-rock.” And in conclusion I want to give everyone a piece of very simple advice: listen to good rock music, listen to old rock and you will find it interesting. For sure!
