Physicochemical properties, chemical components, and antibacterial activity of the essential oil from Mentha arvensis l. Leaves

Essential oil (EO) from the leaves of Mentha arvensis L. was obtained by steam distillation and analyzed for the following physicochemical properties: acid number, saponification number, ester number, relative and absolute density, and freezing point.
