Spainish slug Arion lusitanicus is one of the harnfulness transitive pest in mollusc in Europe. It causes serious losses to agriculture. Portudal, North Spain or France consisted their motherland. The pests spread in area of Great Britain, Austria.

Summary
Arion lusitanicus (Mabille, 1868) appeared in Ukraine in 2007. Its' areas gradually increase. It is necessary to wait their pest spread through Foreststeppe area climatic conditions in complex with biological and ecological peculiarities.

Spainish slug Arion lusitanicus (Mabille, 1868) is one of the harnfulness transitive pest in mollusc in Europe. It causes serious losses to agriculture. Portudal, North Spain or France consisted their motherland. The pests spread in area of Great Britain, Austria, Norway, Sweden, France, Denmark, Germany, Poland, Finland, Belgium, Croatia, Iceland, Serbia, Slovakia, Latvia, Hungary, Romania and Ukraine. The present pest determined in the area of the USA in 1998 as per literary sources. It appeared in Ukraine area in 2007. They appeared in Chernivtsi region in 2011 - 2012 (district Rosha, former Novoselitsa district). They appeared in 2011 -2012. It was the area of warmhouse location. The planting material of ornamental plants put in district Rosha as per our researches.
The population quantity is unsteady in dependance upon weather indexes every year. The present spainish slug data brought from the site of Ukrainian Biodiversity Network UkrBIN. Pest invasion happens with planting material, vegetables, flowers, ornamental plants' seedlings,
The spainish slug mature individual consisted of 80-120 mm. Sometimes it may reached 180 mm. The dying varied from dark-brown, brown to orange bright. The skin's surface is raised. It created raised lines.

Lugs are androgynes. They are able to multiply. One individual puts nearly 500 eggs. arion lusitanicus biotope harmfulness

Eggs laying depends upon weather-climatic terms and it may keep since June to December. This process may continue from June till December. The youth generation reached maturity during two months. They are night life insects. They can live in tiny wet places. They hide in tiny wet places (under fallen leaves in soil's slit).
They made serious damage to agricultural economy, because they eat vegetables, garden, crop and ornamental plants remnants. They can eat die remnants of animals, humus. They made less damage to Scotch kale, lettuce, garlic. They made serious damage to winter wheat, rye. hey eat planted seed, flax, buckwheat.
The spainish lug does not only destruct the crops, but it also spread fungi and viral diseases: cabbage black spot, downy mildew, phytopthora blight.
The agrotechnical, biological and chemical means for protection and struggle with this phytophage. It is necessary to catch pests and put traps, to weed plots. the plant remnants keeps in autumn, to dig up soil in November-December. The diatamaceous earth showed the good usage. The biological preparations: Limacyde and Ferramol, chemical preparations: Molluscocide, Groza meta have good recommendation among the preparations.
Conclusions
The information about Arion lusitanicus invasion came from different Ukrainian regions since 2007. The mollusks biotopes started to appear in Chernivtsi since 2011 -2012. The mollusk appearing is naturally thing. It is caused the seedling flowers, ornamental and crop plants export growing every year. It became a basic reason for sharp growing of the pest. The pest aggressiveness comes to critical limit. It recommends to catch pests for protection and struggle with pests in the following way: to catch the plant remnants and to dig up soil in November- December, the diatomaceous earth usage. The biological preparations: Limacide and Ferramol, Groza meta, chemical preparations: Molluscocide, Slimax have recommended among all existstent preparations.
It is necessary to conduct the colony monitoring A. lusitanicus take into account economic losses for preparing the following recomendations for this species control.
