Thematic and structural peculiarities of aussiger beitrage 2021: Review of the scientific journal “Aussiger beitrage

In the scientific world there are hundreds of professional and multidisciplinary journals and collections of scientific works. The peer-reviewed journal is aimed to a greater extent at highlighting the empirical research of scientists and practitioners dealing with the problems of phraseology. The formation of phraseological units is closely related to the history, culture, mentality, and psychology of a certain people. Confirmation of this thesis can be found in numerous domestic (V. Havrys, M. Hamzyuk, L. Kovbasyuk, O. Prorochenko, G. Prykhodko, etc.) and foreign (D. Bruckner, M. Hulavska- Havkovska, B. Lazer, H. Liebsch, H.-G. Luger & H. Bergerova, etc.) linguists.

It must be noted that the study of idioms correlates with the paradigm of linguistic knowledge, the direction of study and the approach to the phenomenon. For example, the Czech thematic magazine Aussiger Beitrage 2021 is focused on the issue of digital technologies that make it possible to effectively study German phraseology in the process of online learning (Phrasemvermittlung digital [Digital exchange of phrases], pp. 14-109), analyze their semantics in the context of intercultural online communication (Digitale Methoden und Phrasemanalyse [Digital methods and phrase analysis], pp. 111-195), trace the functioning and implementation in digital means of mass communication (Phrasemgebrauch und Online- Medien [Phrase usage and online media], pp. 197-258), etc.

Two categories of researchers of German phraseology can be distinguished: autochthonous and foreigners. Autochthons develop complex issues individually and collectively. At the same time, collective studies are conditionally differentiated into two geographic subgroups: 1) homogeneous and 2) heterogeneous. A homogeneous geosubgroup is represented by Czech scientists, a heterogeneous one by Kosovar, Albanian, and Czech scientists; Spanish and Danish, Russian and Spanish, respectively.

Czech scientists try to interpret country studies through the prism of foreign policy (Sandra Kreisslova/Lukas Novotny) and gender didactics on the time axis (Mirek Nemec), Kosova r, Albanian and Czech scientists focus on the historical development of phrase didactics, the criteria for choosing a phrase, the educational purpose, comparing the meaning of a phrase mother tongue and German, practical phrase processing through exercises, texts, active/passive corpora, etc. (Milote Sadiku/Sonila Sadikaj/Hana Bergerova). idiom scientific journal

The sphere of scientific interests of foreigners includes ways of replenishing idioms through oral and written hypermedia speech (Marios Chrissou, Greece), integration of idioms into the educational process at all language levels (Erzsebet Drahota-Szabo, Bulgaria), the online platform of the educational blog Deutschlernerblog.de ( Milka Enceva/Sasa Jazbec, Slovenia), the advantages of the new educational portal Phras.eu, autonomous from the mother tongue and integrated into the international language - English - (Florentina Mena Martinez/Carola Strohschen, Spain, Erla Hallsteinsdottir, Denmark), the ReDeWe ternary online platform, which synthesizes three areas: 1) a data bank, including a semantic field, an alphabetical index, the level of the main vocabulary of phraseological units; 2) academic online dictionaries; 3) educational platform with interactive exercises (Carola Strohschen, Spain), traditional (printed) and innovative (digital) phraseology based on bilingual dictionaries: German-Polish and Polish-German (Marcelina Kalasznik/Joanna Szcz^k, Poland), comparative semantics of German and of Ukrainian phraseological neologisms during the 2020-2021 pandemic period (Larysa Kovbasyuk/Natalia Romanova, Ukraine), metaphorical use of Hungarian-German idioms in the field of the press of national minorities and their classification (Csaba Foldes, Germany), potential phraseological neologisms in the new digital mass media of Slovenia (Natasa Jakop/Urska Valencic Arh, Slovenia), all types of uncodified idioms in youth German-language content (Sanela Mesic, Sarajevo - Bosnia and Herzegovina).

Editors-in-chief of the refereed journal Georg Schuppener, Hana Bergerova, Heinz-Helmut Luger emphasize that the articles of the second section of Miscellanea Austensia go beyond the topic of the issue of Phraseologie im digitalen Zeitalter - Neue Fragestellungen, Methoden und Analysen [Phraseology in the digital age - new questions, methods and analyses] (p. 9). It is about three scientific investigations 1. “Phraseme in aktuellen Lehrwerken: Fortschritt oder Stillstand?” [Phrasemes in current textbooks: progress or standstill?] (pp. 261-279), 2. “Nostalgie-Tourismus und Grenzgebiete vor und nach dem Fall des Eisernen Vorhangs aus der Perspektive der vertriebenen Deutschen” [Nostalgic tourism and border areas before and after the fall of the Iron Curtain from the perspective of expelled Germans] (pp. 281 -299), 3. “Pauker, Kulturtrager, Volksfeinde und Friedensstifter? Zum Habitus der Deutschlehrer in der tschechischen Gesellschaft” [Teachers, bearers of culture, enemies of the people and peacemakers? On the habitus of German teachers in Czech society] (pp. 301-322), including a critical analysis of the phrases of textbooks, study guides, journals (1), the results of the international project “Probleme der grenzubergreifenden Zusammenarbeit und des grenzubergreifenden Managements im bayerisch-tschechischen Grenzgebiet” [Problems of cross-border cooperation and cross-border management in the Bavarian-Czech border area] (2) and memories of the first lessons of the German language held in the gymnasium of the city of Usti nad Labem according to the “traditional” method or communist ideology (3).

The third section of the journal Aussiger Beitrage 2021 is devoted to reviews of a) collections of scientific works “Politische Internet-Memes - Theoretische Herasufsoderungen und empirische Befunde” [Political Internet Memes - Theoretical Desertifications and Empirical Findings] (pp. 325-328), “Zwischen Sprachphilosophie und Literatur” [Between philosophy of language and literature] (pp.

330-337), “Mehrsprachigkeit und das Politische, Interferenzen in zeitgenossischer deutschsprachiger und baltischer Literatur” [Multilingualism and the Political, Interferences in Contemporary German and Baltic Literature] (pp. 337-339), b) selected reports of the International Conferences on German Studies held in 2016 in Usti nad Labem and Prague (pp. 328-330), c) collective monograph “Phraseme in Textsorten (Beitrage zur Fremdsprachenvermittlung, Sonderheft 27)” [Phrasemes in text types (contributions to foreign language teaching, special issue 27)] (pp. 340-342).

The fourth section informs about the international scientific life during 2021, namely: the third International Online Colloquium for postgraduate and doctoral students in the city of Wroclaw (pp. 345-346), the annual congress of philologists dedicated to the literature of Austria, the city of Poznan (pp. 347-348), XIV International Congress of Germanists in Palermo (pp. 348-352), IX International Linguistic Conference in Pardubice (pp. 352-353), International Workshop “Europe and Border Discourse in German - language Literature”, city of Usti-nad-Laba (pp. 353-355), report on studies under the international program “Erasmus +” (pp. 355-357).

The rubrics “Annotations in English” (pp. 358-364) and “Information about the authors” (pp. 365-370) are expected. They represent brief characteristics of the article and basic data about its author(s).

The column “List of reviewers/experts” appears in a somewhat unusual perspective for us: thanks to all reviewers of the journal Aussiger Beitrage 2021, geography of the reviewers, their scientific degree, title, first name, last name, place of work, country. The international scientific and metric databases SCOPUS and ERIH PLUS, the electronic archive of all issues, relations with the German editions of Europe and America, and the policy of cooperation are represented (pp. 371).

The sections “Review of journal issues for 2007-2020” (p. 373) and “News of Aussiger German studies” (pp. 375-382) are also noteworthy. Over the course of fourteen years, 14 linguistic, philological, didactic topics were examined in detail according to the formulas “free topic - medial literature”, “language - linguistics - linguistic didactics”, “stylistics - perspectives of German studies”, “national - post-national - transnational literature”, “lexicology - lexicography”, “Austrian literature”, “text linguistics - (functional) style”, “power - literature”, “linguistics - teaching foreign languages”, “regional - corporate identity, historical discontinuity”, “German as a foreign language”, “Canon 4.0” (p. 373). “Novelty” is represented by six books that please with black and white design, annotations, passport data of the publishing house VEP (Verlag Empirische Padagogik [Publisher Empirical Pedagogy]) (p. 382).

Evaluating the journal Aussiger Beitrage 2021 positively, we note its extremely great scientific and scientific-cognitive significance for the researches both German and other phraseologisms. In our opinion, all post-graduate and doctoral students in German studies should be acquainted with the scientific output of the journal Aussiger Beitrage 2021.
