Towards a relevance-theoretic approach to the diminutive morpheme

The basis for considering morphemes with a diminutive meaning in the framework of the theory of relevance. The author reviewed the results of such procedures in Spanish. The diminutive and its obvious contribution to lexical and semantic processes.
