SPEECH ERRORS OF PERSIAN SPEAKING STUDENTS WHILE TRANSLATING DERIVATIVE RUSSIAN VERBS

Abstract. The article examines the Iranian student's errors while translating derivative verbs. The analysis revealed typical speech errors, the prevention of which is considered an important task of each teacher, as well as anyone who is engaged in translation from Russian into Persian. The article includes 5 separate bits of speech errors and their causes. Also in each category, several sentences from the Russian language and their equivalents to the Persian language are given as an example. These examples are selected from the written tests of Persian-speaking students during the academic term. The purpose of the article is to consider errors that students may encounter in the process of studying the Russian derivative verb, as well as to offer some recommendations to avoid these common errors.
