The study of testes morphology of various gestation terms after the storage under hypothermic conditions and following cryopreservation demonstrated that the damages aggravated with the effects of cryopreservation factors. It was noted, that under testes freezing without visible morphological impairments on the developed program a structural integrity of tissue elements was kept. Histological study of the samples frozen by a rapid immersion into liquid nitrogen, not depending on the used cryoprotective medium and equilibration time in it, showed the presence of deep disorders of structural interactions in tissues.

The results of conducted investigations of the dependence of hormone-producing activity of fetal testes on gestation age, ischemia, cryoprotectant type and freezing regimen are presented in this thesis. It was established that HFTT after freeze-thawing according to the developed program preserved the ability to grow under conditions of tissue culture. Fetal testes, frozen according to optimal program after thawing preserve their functional activity and ability to synthesise main male sexual hormone - testosterone. Adding the embryonic nerve tissue to feeder layer causes stimulating effect on hormonal activity of HFTT. Horomone-synthesizing activity of HFTT reduces with the increase of ischemia time more than 6 hrs.

In the work the possibility and expediency of the application of cryopreserved HFTT in amniotic membrane for allotransplantation for treating hypogonadism and male infertility. As it was demonstrated the allotransplantation in amniotic membrane of the HFTT, cryopreserved according to the developed by us program, positively affected the testosterone level, significantly did not change the levels of FSH and LH, stimulated spermatogenic function of testes and improved a general state and male sexual function, including the patients with hypogonadism.

Developed methods of cryopreservation and transplantation of HFTT can be recommended for the study and application in medical establishments, dealing with the diagnosis and treatment of the diseases of male reproductive system, in laboratories on the treatment of infertility using the methods of auxiliary reproductive techniques, in R&D institutions, studying the functions of endocrinic organs and dealing with the problems of transplantation of organs and tissues in order to improve the results of male infertility treatment.
