Дисертацію присвячено проблемі формування у майбутніх учителів фізичної культури готовності до розв'язання педагогічних ситуацій. У дисертації визначено специфічні особливості педагогічних ситуацій, розроблено їх класифікацію, з'ясовано структуру, показники та рівні готовності майбутніх учителів фізичної культури до їх розв'язання. Розроблено технологію підготовки студентів до розв'язання педагогічних ситуацій.

Диссертация посвящена проблеме формирования у будущих учителей физической культуры готовности к решению педагогических ситуаций. В работе определены специфические особенности педагогических ситуаций, разработана их классификация, выяснена структура, показатели и уровни готовности будущих учителей физической культуры к их решению. Разработана технология подготовки студентов к решению педагогических ситуаций.

The dissertation is devoted to the questions of formation in students the skills of solving the professional situations which appear in the process of physical education. The analysis and generalization of theoretical points give reason to state that professional situation is defined as a temporary state of interrelations of a teacher and pupils which appear as a result of unsuccessful educational actions, the realization of possibilities or breaches of behavior. The level of pre-university preparation, the presence of independent work skills and the quality of control influence the quality of educational activity of students considerably. Professional situation in real educational process is not only the condition of thought appearance but the means of its functioning and development in fact it is an index of formation of a student's productive cognitive activities, and a searching activity is a criterion of his development as a specialist. Professional situations fulfill such functions: educational, diagnostic, developing and upbringing. The educational function of professional situations of physical culture teacher lies in the possibilities to use them as a teaching material for studying and learning many pedagogical processes and phenomena. The diagnostic function lies in the qualitative and quantitative indices, which are typical for analysis of certain situation, used as criteria of estimation of a teacher's professional skill. The developing function of professional situations lies in the possibility and effectiveness of developing the important professional qualities of a teacher and especially the professional thought. The upbringing function deals with the examples and models of physical training teacher's educational actions in different situations, which appear during physical culture educational process.

The classification of the professional situations must account various points and especially time factors, organizing forms, different appliance, the contents and structure of the training, frequency and complexity of the emergence.

The majority of the teachers and students choose compromise while solving the professional situations. In most cases this style is chosen by physical training teachers (70 %). The data obtained show that compromise was chosen by the students who were tested accordingly: 1-st year - 62,5 %; 2-nd year 55,4 %; 3-rd year- 66,6 %; 4-th year - 63,3 %.

On the base of the research and generalization of result there were separated three groups of students according to their ability to analyze the professional situations and to take optimal decision. The first group includes the students who can deeply analyze situations and the main part of them uses unusual ways of solution.

The quantity of the solutions, which were proposed for this group, is within 3-5 names. Students who call sometimes up to ten versions of answers are referred to the second group (50 %). But these are often rather primitive ways of solving the problematic situations. The analysis of these situations is very superficial, without any pedagogical substantiation. Students who mainly offer one or two ways of solving professional situations are referred to the third group. These are usually traditional and mostly mentioned ways. Students' analysis of such situations is almost absent

Formation of abilities to solve professional problems is expediently conducted on basis of the algorithm, which enables very quickly to master the content and succession of the analysis of numerous situations and to develop the elements of professional thinking. The successor of actions during the time of professional situation solving includes acquaintance with the situation comprehension and understanding of its content amplification of the status of the objects, creating this situation, the factors and circumstances, comprehension of the expected results, definition and ground of the ways of achievement of the expected results, content of the practical actions, the evaluation of the results of professional situation solving.

The basic results of the investigation are introduced into educational process of higher educational institutions.
