Thesis for candidate of pedagogical science degree in speciality 13.00.01 - general pedagogics and history of pedagogics. - Central Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education of Academy of Pedagogical Science of Ukraine, Kyiv, 2007.

The thesis substantiates the worked out model of quality management of professional activity of I-II level accreditation higher education institution teachers on the grounds of management and motivation of work, comprising conceptual, contest and technological constituents, organization and conceptual, functional, diagnostic and analytical, resulting and operative blocks.

The conceptual constituent of the model specifies structure and content of teachers' professional activity motivation, consisted of aggregate of their professional needs (personal, economic, spiritual), interests (economic, spiritual) and motives and it is used as a mechanism of influence on their professional activity quality; the content constituent represents the worked out appropriate social and psychological, economic and organization conditions of educational institution control in the modern market conditions for improving of teachers' professional activity and level of satisfaction of their professional needs and interests; the technological component represents the worked out techniques of assessment of teachers' professional activity quality according to its principal components on qualimetric grounds, material and moral stimulation of teachers according to levels of their professional activity quality and levels of educational institution control (state, regional, internal), determination of quality control levels of teachers' pedagogical activity on conditions of satisfaction of their professional needs and interests.
