Li Jihua. Creative Usage of V. Sukhomlinsky's Pedagogical Heritage in Chinese People's Republic. - Manuscript.

The dissertation is submitted to the degree of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences in speciality 13.00.01 - “General pedagogics and history of pedagogics”. - The Institute of Pedagogics of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Kyiv, 2005.

The dissertation is devoted to the historical and pedagogical analysis of the outstanding pedagogue V. Sukhomlinsky's pedagogical heritage, his points of view on the teaching and education of schoolchildren.

The peculiarity of the scholar's points of view on the teaching and education process lies in the universality of his pedagogical research, which has awoken a great interest to his creative work on the side of the pedagogues all over the world.

As a result of the scholar's heritage analysis and the analysis of the works of modern Chinese pedagogues, psychologists, pedagogical periodicals of the Chinese People's Republic and Ukraine the reasons, conditions and the ways of extension and application of V. Sukhomlinsky's pedagogical heritage are exposed in the context of the secondary education system reform of China. The stages of this process are shown and well argued.

Generalized are the results of the adaptation of some concrete aspects of Sukhomlinsky's heritage and the mechanism of broadening and development of the scholar's heritage in practical work of modern Chinese school is shown.
