The purpose of the research: theoretical substantiation, development and approbation the individualization of learning to swim children 4-5 years of ages on the basis of the principle of entropy.

The methods of the research: scientific and methodical literature analysis, pedagogical observation, questionnaires, survey, pedagogical experiment, the method of expert estimates, mathematical methods of statistical processing of data.

Research finding and their novelty: 1) revealed the essential characteristics of individualization of teaching swimming to children 4-5 years of age; 2) the principle of entropy is justified as the basis for individualization of teaching swimming to children 4-5 years of age; 3) experimentally tested a methodic for the individualization of teaching swimming to children 4-5 years on the basis of the principle of entropy; 4) substantiated and developed a methodological support for the individualization of teaching swimming to children 4-5 years on the basis of the principle of entropy.

Extend of the use: the results of the research are introduced in the educational process of PEE (preschool education establishment) № 298 of Minsk.

Sphere of use: the research materials could be used in the practice of teachers of preschool education, the development of educational programs of professional development for physical education pre-school education, in the preparation of training programs and the corresponding methodical support that help to optimize the process of swimming training preschool children in developing training and teaching manuals.
