Using online learning in education

Использование онлайн-обучения в образовании

Аннотация
В современном, стремительно развивающемся мире прогресс шагнул далеко вперед, интернет-технологии прочно вошли в нашу жизнь. Чтобы идти в ногу со временем, необходимо создавать такое образовательное пространство, которое будет активно использовать новейшие информационные технологии. При этом необходимо учитывать не только положительные стороны и преимущества онлайн-обучения, но и постараться учесть слабые места и трудности, с которыми придется столкнуться.
Ключевые слова: онлайн-обучение, онлайн-курсы, образовательный процесс, информационные технологии, цифровая образовательная среда.

In the modern, rapidly developing world, progress has stepped far forward, Internet technologies have firmly entered our lives. To keep up with the times, it is necessary to create an educational space that will actively use the latest information technologies. At the same time, it is necessary to take into account not only the positive aspects and advantages of online learning, but also try to take into account the weaknesses and difficulties that you will encounter.
Key words: online learning, online courses, educational process, information technology, digital educational environment.
It is difficult to avoid online courses in a modern education process. They are becoming more popular and causing interest with educational organizations. Of course, the personal contact of teacher with the students is more effective but online learning can also attract and motivate. These factors give each teacher the opportunity to make a course that will interest students. During making a course you should use the right tools, visual materials, course support, task logic, etc. But at the same time, for a good result, it is necessary to take into account the specifics of the subject, the degree of training of students, the qualifications of the teacher and properly organize the process. If you do not pay attention to this while creating an online course, then the result may be the opposite of what you expected.
The main task of a teacher is to create an educational space; it can also be realized during creating an online course. At the same time, the course model can be fully or partially online or mixed. If the course model is not just remote and it involves interaction with students, then the figure of the teacher, his interest, energy, experience play an important role in video lectures. After all, only a true professional who has experience and knowledge, who's taking into account the interests, goals and objectives of students, can interest the audience. The possibilities of online courses allow you to share information with a large audience but here it is important to establish control over the assimilation of the material, the possibility of its practical application.
The benefits of online courses include:
-mass character;
-the possibility of teaching a large audience;
-the ability to watch, listen to the material repeatedly;
-modern technologies for submitting theory and practical tasks;
-training is possible at any time and in any place, does not depend on time zones and location;
-availability, variety of courses and trainings;
-the possibility of training, advanced training for people with disabilities due to health reasons;
-optimization of training, for independent work and control of students' knowledge;
-to improve the rating of an educational institution;
-opportunities for learning, self-development anywhere in the world without leaving the main place of residence;
-reducing stress with students while doing control tasks in a comfortable conditions. educational information online learning
As part of the online course we can get faster test results, operational control over the task. But there is no opportunity to check the independence of the work.
Therefore, it is necessary to think over tasks that can be completed by understanding and studying the topic.
Online learning allows you to attract the modern generation that living in the virtual world to learning in a familiar and interesting place for them. It also provides an opportunity for those who have studied in other areas of preparation to receive additional information, learn new professions and undergo training. Another advantage of online courses is the possibility of teaching foreign citizens and compatriots which are located outside our country, and there is also the opportunity to get education in other cities and countries, if the training course is automatically translated into an accessible language or there is no language barrier. Also we should note another positive aspect of online courses - it is a reduction of the burden on teachers, they will have more free time for additional training, advanced training, scientific work. By the way, in order to improve teaching, teachers have an incentive to master new information and educational technologies, develop creative skills, develop their own teaching methods, and express themselves in order to be in high demand in their profession.
Online courses also have weaknesses, which should not be forgotten either:
lack of personal contact between the teacher and the student, one-way transmission of information, there is no instant response, the reaction is not clear;
there is no opportunity to comment, ask a question in real time;
large expenditures of time and resources for creating online courses;
with rapidly changing information in the world, there is no way to quickly make changes to the educational course, which in such conditions loses its relevance;
the ability to do tasks and tests several times, which does not allow an objective assessment of the student's knowledge;
it is difficult to determine the independence of learning and performance of control tasks by students;
the lack of a creative component among students, the loss of the ability to analyze, because in the online course all the material is provided in finished form.
Also, when learning online, it is necessary to take into account the fact that the student must have discipline, take a responsible approach to completing tasks, independently organize their workspace and time. If in full-time learning everything happens in real time, according to the schedule, the plan for the implementation and delivery of work, then in online learning the interest of the student, his ability to selfdiscipline and self-control, plays an important role. Another one weak side of online learning is that there are professional teacher, who can teach their discipline at the highest level in a traditional way but they can't use computer technologies. Personal communication of teachers, students among themselves gives not only the exchange of information on the discipline being studied, but also carries moments of real life, upbringing, culture, and the ability to work in a team. Therefore, even when developing and creating an online course, the teacher's task is not only to transmit information, but also to convey interest and personal professional experience.
Obviously, online courses have many advantages that need to be used, while setting the right goals and objectives for their application, as well as pre-testing and testing innovations before implementation. Online courses can be taken on their own or combined with traditional learning as a complement. Online learning enables a large number of students to develop the skills of research, intellectual activity, promotes the development of independence and the effective use of virtual resources, provides access to new sources of educational information.
