Abstract

This paper is to propose and plan architectural solutions to achieve the common goal of mankind through remodeling of fishing villages and to revitalize it. Through this study, it is possible to directly or indirectly show that the common goal of mankind can be achieved architecturally, and it can be an example of an architectural approach that utilizes marine resources to revitalize fishing villages. It is hoped that this study will take one step closer to the undiscovered “Ocean with infinite potential” and serve as a starting point for active marine architecture.

Цель данной статьи -- создать и предложить архитектурные решения для достижения общей цели человечества путем реконструкции рыбацких деревень и их возрождения. Благодаря этому исследованию можно прямо или косвенно показать, что общая цель человечества может быть достигнута архитектурным путем, и это может быть примером архитектурного подхода, который использует морские ресурсы для оживления рыбацких деревень. Есть надежда, что это исследование сделает еще один шаг ближе к неоткрытому «Океану с бесконечным потенциалом» и послужит отправной точкой для активного развития морской архитектуры.

Introduction

The trend of fishermen and fishermen population in Korea is decreasing year by year. Despite the decrease in the population, there is an ironic phenomenon that the income of fishermen is increasing due to the tourism factor of fishing villages. The fact that the number of fishermen is decreasing despite the fact that there is a tourism factor so that the graph of fishing household income and population intersects the graph of fishing household income and population indicates that the inflow of the population is still low. It was done by remodeling the famous Shinji area, the fishing village of Shinji is revitalized. We want to achieve the common goal of mankind and revitalize fishing villages.

Current status problems of nursing hospitals

Fishing Village New Deal 300 is an integrated development project for fishing villages and fishing ports that reflects the characteristics of the region and modernizes the infrastructure of the fishing village, such as a run-down marina, as a community-based SOC project that helps the innovative growth of the fishing village. Shin-ri, Shinji-myeon, has been selected as the 2020 Fishing Village New Deal 300 and has the above issues. In addition, Sinji-myeon Beach is included as a marine debris monitoring area extracted from the marine information portal. As shown in the attached image above, Shinji- myeon has not only the decline of the fish- ing village, but also the problem of marine debris, so it is necessary to regenerate the fishing village.

Ecology Problems and Limitations of the Fishing Village N. D 300 Sin-ri Beach in Sinji-myeon attracts many tourists to spend their vacations. As a result, the amount of waste generated will also increase, and deterioration of water quality through users cannot be excluded. In addition, marine debris dumped on other land remains in Shin-ri, causing water pollution and damage to the landscape. Shinji-myeon was selected as the Fishing Village New Deal 300 and became a program and plan that will bring about positive effects such as reinforcement, extension, creation of the Oullim Madang (Community Yard), construction of a management center for famous items, creation of a water play fishing port space, a resident healing center, and a marine garbage dump. However, there are limitations in that it cannot take advantage of the advantages of nature, increase the productivity of fishing furniture, lack of indoor culture promotion programs that can be used all year round, lack of landmark elements, lack of continuous marine debris management facilities, and lack of water quality programs.

Direction of Design

We plan a marine cultural complex center where you can enjoy culture with the ocean both indoors and outdoors, and a water quality research institute in charge of continuous monitoring and management of water quality and marine debris. Inside the research center, a water quality research center publicity hall and marine ecosystem experience hall are planned to raise awareness of the sustainability of marine ecosystems. As a vertical/horizontal observatory that allows 360-degree viewing of natural elements and outdoor programs, the plan is to introduce eco-friendly elements related to wind, sun, and air conditioning, such as a coastal promenade plan for linking beaches and commercial facilities and improving road scenery.

Selection of Site. Sinji-myeongsasimni Beach, Shinji-myeon, is the best beach on the southern coast, which is rich in functional ingredients such as minerals contained in seawater, and is not only beautiful in size but also in beauty. Around it, Sangsan Mountain is on the left and Nohakbong Mountain is on the right. The new site name is the place where fishermen's boats dock, and the anti-Japanese monument was built to connote the spirit of independence activists, and it is an area with many natural landscapes.

Zoning and layout alternatives

1) Zoning : As for the external space plan, a welcome plaza, a community plaza using a slope, a walkway, an outdoor deck, a crevice water shelter, and natural landscape elements created by seawater are planned, and a cultural center, research institute, fish market and community facilities are planned.

2) Design Concept: An eco-friendly plan that maximizes the use of slopes and minimizes damage to nature. In addition, by giving the slope of the elevation, it was designed to receive sunlight as much as possible to provide natural light.

3) Derivation of creative architectural concepts : It presents the concept of ocean space creation due to moving and resting flows. It flows into the target site through connection with commercial facilities, and plans tourism factors, marine ecosystems, income enhancement of fishing households, health security, and cultural centers and research institutes.

4) Mass Design Process: The mass plan was designed to match the axis of the site after securing sunlight, and a morphological design came out considering the wind.

5) Layout Alternative Analysis : At the site and azimuth, the courtyard shape, the east-facing arrangement, and the south-facing arrangement were analyzed through design PH. Although it was possible to obtain a certain level of insolation each, the southfacing arrangement was prioritized because it had the least solar gain and the lowest heating and cooling load.

From the above deployment steps, egg shape based on the above energy analysis was developed to proceed with the plan.

Integrated and Safety Design. A plan is prepared by applying open space, structure, equipment & evacuation, safety and barrier-free design planning methods for the selected layout plan.

1) Open space consultation

As for the external space plan, a welcome plaza, a community plaza using a slope, a walking path, an outdoor deck, a crevice water shelter, and natural landscape elements created by seawater are planned. There are also floating decks and community decks.

2) Structural consultation

As for the structure of the Oceanic Complex Cultural Center, each building was planned with 16 frames of circular pipe structure and some cantilever structures as the main structures.

3) Mech. & Elec. Consultation

A reasonable plan was made by consulting on the size and location of the mechanical & electrical rooms and the duct plan of each floor.

4) Fire Escape: In case of emergency, a plan was prepared to prevent the spread of fire and to promote safe evacuation according to architectural safety related code.

Eco-friendly Design

1) Eco-friendly passive design

However, in terms of planning, the level difference was used to facilitate the movement of light and wind to create a pleasant environment. Introduced passive design technique for eco-friendly and energy efficient building design

2) Energy saving design

It actively introduced lighting, regulated sunlight through louvers, produced electricity through solar power generation, and improved the effect of rest and insulation with a rooftop garden space. The active element was a solar panel, a total heat exchanger, and a dimming control system.

Proposal Design

As a result of study on the above, here I propose the low-rise rehabilitation hospital fitting to the situation.

The conclusion

As a result of this study I got the following conclusions:

It was intended to revitalize Shin-ri, Sinji-myeon, through a design plan suitable for the residents of Sin-ri, Sinji-myeon, fishing residents, tourists, and finally, the marine ecosystem. In addition, a program was planned to encourage continuous management and interest in the marine ecosystem.

Architecturally, people move in space and stay in another space. It is a repetition of space and movement. By expressing these characteristics of space and movement together with the ocean, it is intended to change more positively with the marine ecosystem. By doing so, it is hoped that various pollutants such as daily garbage and filth that are thrown into the sea will be reduced.

By creating a space, an architect can microscopically and positively influence people who enjoy and experience space, thereby creating effects such as enhancing their happiness and daily life. Macroscopically, it can solve social problems, regional problems, and even global problems. This research and cultural complex plan was intended to solve the global problems of marine debris and fishing villages.
