This study aims to identify the problems and limitations of existing cultural facilities and propose the formation of a cultural industry cluster using the neglected modern industrial heritage. Rather than a cultural district that places importance on the consumption function of culture, the production function of culture is emphasized and a composition that can respond immediately to changes was considered.

ИССЛЕДОВАНИЕ ПО ФОРМИРОВАНИЮ КУЛЬТУРНОГО КЛАСТЕРА С ИСПОЛЬЗОВАНИЕМ МЕСТОРАСПОЛОЖЕНИЯ ТЕКСТИЛЬНОЙ ФАБРИКИ ДОНЪИЛЬ В ИНЧХОНЕ

Целью данного исследования является выявление проблем и ограничений существующих объектов культуры и предложение о формировании кластера индустрии культуры с использованием заброшенного современного промышленного наследия. Вместо того, как культурный район придает большое значение потребительской функции, подчеркивается производственная функция культуры, и была рассмотрена композиция, которая может немедленно реагировать на изменения.
Ключевые слова: фабрика городской культуры, экологичное энергосбережение.
Introduction

In this study, the causes of the problems of the current cultural facilities are considered to be in a situation where the cultural industry composition without considering the regional context and excessive focus on 'consumption', and neglect containing the memory of the region as a solution to solve this problem. It is intended to propose the formation of a cultural industry cluster based on the urban context and locality using the modern industrial heritage. As the desire for the local has increased in the future, in order for the cultural industry to have sufficient value and to build a foundation, it is necessary to take into account the context of the local community.
1. The status and problem of the Existing Cultural Facilities and case studies
The status and problem of the Existing Cultural Facilities
We need to pay attention to the fact that most cultural spaces are focused on consuming cultural contents. As such, cultural spaces are inevitably sensitive to social changes, and the fact that most cultural spaces lack the ability to respond and respond immediately to these changes was confirmed through the COVID-19 pandemic. In other words, in order for the cultural space to respond to sensitive social changes, it must be able to respond quickly by enabling its own production and supply. As the local area is attracting attention again, it is expected that if cultural spaces based on the cultural context of the local community are intertwined with the functions of production and supply, a sustainable cultural space with sufficient value and a virtuous cycle of consumption and production will be formed.
Case studies
1) `798 Art Zone' in Beijing, China
789 Art District is an art street located in Dashanzhi, Chaoyang District, Beijing, with a total area of about 600,000 square meters. This is a factory area where weapons factories supported by the former Soviet Union, including the state-run 798 Factory, were concentrated. When the conditions of the factory were not good, they started to rent the factory, and artists started living there in 1996, and the basic framework was established around 2001.

2) Seoul's Mullae Arts Complex
Mullae Art Complex refers to a space where artists are concentrated in 1, 2, 3, and 4-ga, centering on 3-ga, Mullae-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. Mullae Arts Complex was formed in the late 2000s, but Mullae-dong was first formed as a small-scale machine and metal-related industry cluster.

Selection of Site
The design target site was selected from the site of Dongil Textile Factory located in Manseok-dong, Dong-gu, Incheon.

2. Design Process
Design Concept
We propose to form a cultural industry cluster based on the urban context and locality by utilizing the abandoned modern industrial heritage of Dongil Textile Factory. As the desire for the local has increased, in order for the cultural industry to have value and build a foundation, the cultural industry must come in considering the context of the local community as a resource.

It is classified into four categories: Literature Factory, Film Factory, Fashion Factory, and Incheon Museum of Labor history.

The RC structure of the existing building was used, and the extension part was planned with a steel structure.

Eco-friendly Design
Rather than completely demolishing the existing building, the demolition zone and the preservation zone were planned and divided to design. Considering that the surrounding site is a factory area, trees were arranged to buffer this and a green axis was formed to ensure efficient natural ventilation. In addition, due to the nature of the existing building, lighting was not smooth, so a partial courtyard was formed to facilitate light and natural ventilation. Furthermore, the venturi effect was induced by utilizing some of the higher floor heights during the remodeling process.

As a result of this study I got the following conclusions:

Considering that the causes of existing cultural space problems are in the situation of excessively focusing on 'consumption' and the composition of the cultural industry without considering the regional context, as a solution to solve these problems, the neglected modern industrial heritage containing the memories of the region. It was proposed to form a cultural industry cluster based on the context and locality of the city used. In the future, as the desire for the local has increased, in order for the cultural industry to have sufficient value and build a foundation, cultural industry facilities that take into account the context of the local community will have to come in. Since cultural industrial facilities tied to an urban context are composed of various types, it is possible to increase the possibility of new cultural innovations occurring in collaborations of various genres that cannot exist in a cultural district where existing similar cultural industries gather. In addition, it should be possible to respond immediately to changes by emphasizing the `production' function of culture rather than the cultural district that emphasizes the `consumption' function of culture. In other words, it is necessary to view the cultural industry as an industry and organize the entire process of production, supply and consumption in one place so that it can respond immediately without easily falling behind in rapidly changing trends.
