In the dissertation the author substantiates the structure of integral readiness of designers to their professional activity and distinguishes two groups of components: methodological and pedagogical. The model of training of future designers in higher educational establishments of Ukraine contains structural part (integral structure of designerњ readiness to their professional activity and the whole complex of external factors) and functional part (a table of contents, didactics basis, stages and ways of forming of such readiness). In the structural-functional model the contents of design education is based on the use of the main principles of didactics such as fundamentalization, integrity, continuity and variativity.

In this thesis the author developes demands to the integration of artistic and professional knowledge in future designers training. The contents of knowledge for future designers combines the following aspects: theoretic, artistic, engineering-technical, technological. As a result of introduction of the model of preparation of future designers there is positive dynamics in development of the professional abilitieњ level of students in the experimental and control droups, their progress in studies is promotes due to the program of forming of integrated knowledge and use of the innovative aducational professionalprograms. One can see the dynamics in forming creative attitude to professional knowledge and efficiency of training due to the kinds of activity (project, carrying out and scientific-reseach) and in students' readiness to perform their professional duties.
