The teenage years are difficult. Problems in school, such as stress, self-image, and emotional control, are often exacerbated by the mass hormonal maelstrom that is more commonly known as high school, making it seems like a physical and psychological obstacle course rather than a place of learning.
School is a stressful time. The psychologists state school as the biggest source of stress to teens. The pressure on young adults to perform well in a variety of academic, sporting, and extracurricular activities is grueling. On top of this, teens at high school are expected to make wise, life-changing decisions. The modern world is wonderful in that there are so many choices available for students, but these same options can make their high school years seem overwhelming.
The aim of this research was to find out the causes of teenagers' problems in communication and the ways how to cope with them.
The team made a survey among pupils of their school and found out the main communication problem and the reasons.
It's very important that the results of this research will be used in future. This team suggested to organize a special club for lonely teens and help them make friends.
Introduction
The urgency of the issue:
The age of 13-19 is very important but also difficult period in the life of a person. The base of personality is created in this period. One of the main goals for children of this age is self-determination. The teenager has to answer the questions: «Who am I?», «What am I l like ?», «What will I do in the future?». The people around can have a great influence on developing teens' characters. ( E. V. Gvozdkova "Up-to-date Topics for Discussion: Let me say" Iris Press Moscow, 2001).
The matter of the research : teenagers at school
The subject of the research : teen's behaviour and relationship
The problem:
Looking for the answers for these questions teens sometimes face misunderstanding of parents and classmates. Some teens think they are mature enough and try to live without parents' control. At the same time they can't find true friends and feel loneliness.
Our suppose :
The loneliness of teenagers is caused by some problems in communication skills.
The purpose:
- To find out the problems of teens' communication and their reasons in the school N1537.
- To find the ways how to help teenagers communicate with peers.
The tasks:
1. To study the Internet and literature sources about age psychology of teens.
2. To make the survey of the students of the 9th-11th classes of the school №1537.
3. To analyze the information and the results of the survey and make a conclusion.
4. To analyze the possible ways of solving the problem.
The methods of the research:
1. Observation
2. Study and the integration of information
3. Social survey
4. Analysis
1. Literature study
It goes without saying that school is a place where children face a lot of interests, friendship and enmity, the first love. As for teens, they often go to school more for communication than for getting good academic results.
Teenagers try to realize their personality in the relationships with peers. They fight for personal freedom and independence with adults thinking that they are mature enough. Not every teenager is able to find close friends. That is why some of them choose self-isolation or formal relationships with peers.

There are two types of people: introverts and extroverts. Introverts are more concerned with the inner world of the mind. They enjoy thinking, exploring their thoughts and feelings. They often avoid social situations because being around people drains their energy. This is true even if they have good social skills. After being with people for any length of time, such as at a party, they need time alone to "recharge". Extroverts tend to "fade" when alone and can easily become bored without other people around. When given the chance, an extrovert will talk with someone else rather than sit alone and think. In fact, extroverts tend to think as they speak, unlike introverts who are far more likely to think before they speak. Extroverts often think best when they are talking. Concepts just don't seem real to them unless they can talk about them; reflecting on them isn't enough.

2. Work processing and results
Firstly, we made a questionnaire for the survey.
These are the questions we asked the students of our school:
1. Do you know who "introverts" and "extroverts" are?
2. Have you ever had problems with communication? With whom?
3. What are the reasons of your problems?
- the lack of friends
- the misunderstanding of the mental world
- no common interests with peers
- people don't know my best qualities
- others
4. Who do you ask for help in troubles?
- Classmates
- Friends
- Parents
- Other relatives
- Teachers
- Other
5. Do you know any pupils in your school who have problems with communication?
6. What are the reasons of these problems?
- The particular qualities of a character
- The lack of common interests
- Nationality
- Bad academic results
- Family problems
- Appearance
- Physical disability
- Behaviour
Then we interviewed about 150 pupils of the 9th-11th forms.
After the survey we have got these results:
psychology teenager communication

1. The majority of the students know who are "introverts" and "extroverts" (90%)

Picture 3
2. The majority of the students have difficulties in communication with peers (44%)and the lack of common interests is a cause of it.(38%)
Picture 4
3. In the hour of need the majority of the students turn to their friends.(60%)

Picture 6
4. 90% of students know the children who have communication problems with classmates in school and it relates to their (children's) character features.(65%)
Conclusion
All things considered , the survey of the students from № 1537 school shows that some of them have problems with communication with peers . Nevertheless, teens more often turn for help to their classmates than to parents or teachers.
That's why having a good friend is very important in teen's life. They need friends to ask for advice or help. However, there are pupils in our school who are isolated or even bullied because of their character or lack of common interests with classmates.
Some lonely children try to find friends or communicate with people by means of the Internet. However, the Internet friends can't be close and can even be dangerous.
What can we do for these teenagers? If a teen needs help but has nobody to turn to, we can organize a special TRUST CLUB for TEENs (TCT). The school psychologist and not indifferent students will talk with the pupils in need, give them advice and even help them find friends in this club. Sometimes children are too shy and can't make a first step to start friendship . Our club will help them become more sociable and communicable. We are going to present our idea to our school authorities.
